By the way, That f-13 party is probably the wrong party to reference about how the NYC scene is "back". the plug got pulled at 4 and i heard scott henry never even showed nuff. Brooklyn party's are shady.haha. if the fire marshalls dont get payed, the beats dont get played. one

Off kilter buddy. While the party did get shut at 4 it was a result of the venue management being dicks. They werent meeting their bar garuntee so the club pulled the plug not fire marshalls. Secondly Scott Henry did show up but was supposed to do a closing set. Third it did bring shit back to NYC. It is the largest party in a long time to take place in this city. And the after party also jumped off with Dara among others spinnin early morning sets at an ill bowling ally venue. Before you talk shit in a public forum get your facts straight.

u seem real passionite about shit that didn't happen. ha. Don't mean to step on toes but My man scott henry didn't go on, and that shit was shut down at 4. What ever the ifs, and's, or , buts doesn't mean shit to the heads that payed to 2-5 to get there party on. And that "broken" ticket didn't get you into that "dueds" basement with the bowling alley in it where like 30 people showed up. It was like my brothers 5th grade b-day party w/o pizza and soda. Those are the facts, chief. I don't know if you had money invested, in that case i could understand your lawyering, but if you didn't,...well, maybe, your just having a bad day. you don't have to bullshit and politic. theres no political office to campaign for here boss. your not going to be the next mayor of raveville, usa bitch. haha. just playing. one.

Didnt get my money. and you know Im sitting here laughing my ass of at this. With all this tragey in the world at least I get a good laugh at NYC raves. Now the dance party USA cant even go past 4? What a joke. My 5th grade birthday parties were probably more fun than that "rave". Please get a real venue. hahaha to everyone who thinks raves are fine and dandy who went and threw out your money. Any real rave heads out there I am sorry and shit sucks now.

So shit got fucked up with the party. It happens and it wasnt the fault of the kids involved it was the club. The venue was an ill old skool type warehouse venue. Nooks and crannies and the whole nine. My only complaint was that security were a bunch of ass holes. As for the after party Scott Henry was supposed to spin but had only cd's and no vinyl and there were no cdj's. X, the venue would have matched up even to your standards unless you hated lunatarium and other venues like it. The next one at this spot will be dope.

shit always gets fucked up at parties if it aint one thing its another.....This is why i realy aint been to keen on the rave scene latley...

One of these things ALLWAYS ends up happeneing

1)The Headlining Dj doesnt show up.
2)People dont show up.
3)The promoter decides to jack up he price at the last minute by 20 dollars.
4)The promoters provide the headliners with shitty equipment...which i think is insulting...LOCAL 13 is guilty of this alot of the time....
5)Party gets shut down with no refunds....
6)The Venue is alot smaller than u expected the party is empty and you just spent 20+ dollars to party with a buncha 17 yr olds...
7)The promoter decides that quantity is better than quality so instead of having a smaller amount of djs spin for 2-3 hours he fills up the lineup with 30+ djs all spinning for about 1 hour each...we all know yo cant do SHIT in one hour....
8) The promoter decides to feature the same lineup he/shes had for the same past 50 parties....

I also hate the fact that everytime i walk into a nyc rave i see the same goddamned 30 people i see at every event, its like the promoters only job is to keep these handful of locals content without any regard for those that come out of state....Promoters should be trying to expand their audience by including noobs instead of focusing on just the core audience...

I think the promoters need to learn a lesson or two from promoters elsewhere. Look at California and Ohio and stuff... Then look back at this... Something is wrong.
