I started this thread about older raves comparing them to new ones. 90% of you werent even at these parties. You will understand once puberity is hit and you travel outside of this coast and see that real raves still exsit just not in NYC. Then you will agree with the ones who know what real raves are.

I agree but I say 2000, thats when it all crashed right after brass monkey 2000 shit died out drasticly like that was the last bash and we all said goodbye, now that I look at it I wish I knew shit was going to die so fast.

I'm actually quite surprised this thread is still open and x-raver is still arguing...

I actually have a few friends in their early to mid thirties, living in the NYC and North Jersey area... They still go to parties, and they still love it. Now those are true heads.

X-raver, if you were really a true head, who was all about "raves", parties, and bringin back the oldskool, you'd still find the beauty in good music, good people, and good times, regardless of how small the venue may be. I think you're just jaded. Many of us (and notice I didn't say ALL) still enjoy parties, no matter how small and perhaps predictable.

not about the venue. You must be a 19 year old NYC retard raver. You cannot have a great rave in a shitty venue. The venue is the start of the whole fucking thing. Then you bring on the music and yes of course the music is the theme but you need a cool atmosphere. You can not understand because you have never been to a real rave in nyc at an amazing venue. Go talk to your 30 year old friends and ask them about the Roseland and the Rose castle and then ask them what they think about the Hook and tell me you can have just as good a time at the Hook. Please give me a fucking break. Go back to school.
