media and big bus has ruined raves and the scene
kids are brain washed into this crab that runs on mtv and disney before they can even talk...only shit on the radio (everything is clearchannel owned etc)

you guys need to snap out of it and discover your own music taste again, thats all (same goes for politcs and bla bla bla) there is nothing more powerful then the consumer, so everybody here can make a change!!!

and btw, dont forget to check out audio werners first ever us appearance

This member is the original thread starter. Default How could I just start

How could I just have started going to raves idiot when I said I dont go anymore. I would go if there ever was a worth while party in the city. I never said that people didnt dress up back in the day. And yeah Boo a great example. But that and mask a rave was the only time it was ok to try to look weird. Now its mask a rave every party.

Default Hmmmm...

Ok so Boo,Freaky, raves at the amazura? or roseland? or skateland... whatever it was. yeah. those times of those kinds of parties are gone. but do you know what else is gone? the raver sludge, the knowing truly everybody in the room, and the drugs that weren't even "drugs." There have always been kids dressing up to my knowledge. since like 94 here. Maybe the hardcore scene is totally different. (like no one knows what a hardcore pit is it seems) but hey ya know what, i go alone sometimes cuz i am seriously addicted to the music, not the k, the e, the dust, the roofies (god i would love to have been roofied in my life) or anything else. no one know's a white from yellow or blue, there's not as much smarts, but yo know where i learned all that? from older kids. Club kids. Ravers don't teach any more. kids see tv and they follow style, pure and simple. I'd probably be a bitter hippie if i was born back then, but i am a raver. true and through almost more than half my life now. We gotta TEACH these kids what it's like. like CAli, they couldn't dance worth...@@@#@! ya know? no offense but east coast! it's diff. we don't get massivs, Ultraworld is pretty much gone. outlaws are slim picking, it's gone the way of the parties. Crackhouse laws. Why have i never been to a desert party? been to beach ones. TEACH PEOPLE!!!! TEACH!!! I bet half the newbies would love to hear from an old school raver. i love talkiing to hippies that are lost adrift.

This member is the original thread starter. Default WOW someone is not a retard

The previous post was the first of 3 pages that had anything to do with parties now from the old. I agree that TV shapes these retards but why dont it shape me and my friends? Because the scene is new and diffrent is no excuse. I do not do drugs any more (weed is not a drug) and I drink on the weekends sometimes. That not my main problem it is a big one but it is not the main one. Where did the freakin amazura go. The old parties there were great ( Not I have a NIGHTMARE(DREAM)) Real old stuff pumping sound and room in that placce was the best. GONE GONE GONE GONE this is my problem we need to get that stuff back and I would return with 100's of old kids I know or have seen. That has nothign to do with TV or 2006 its the people with money in the party scene do nothing in NYC. If the money was there it could be BACK, does anyone rember the ROSE castle in brooklyn???? If so it was the best place too. Fancy funked up ravers on great real drugs. Old times man the best. But its GONEl. I would go and just drink now and have fun too but where is the freaking money!!! If someone spent it the scene could grow again but people know that NYC IS DEAD!!!!! AND THATS MY CITY!!!!! and its dead so we all have no choice but not to go and therefor there is no funding. So you get little gay parties at the HOOK. PLease man my moms house with my Jbl 18's is better then the freaking hook.

x-raver, i know NYC is yo city and all but if it sucks so bad move to cali. i lived in STL for like 3 years. i had to drive all the way to chicago just to hit decent parties. most were just house music which isnt my favorite. STL scene is small and lame. i never whined about it though. i pinched my pennies and moved here. partied hardy for awhile and i love it. people and the variety of music and parties every weekend is gnarly. or you can promote yo own parties. i really dont know how easy/hard that is so i cant talk like its simple. but thats just all i can say on it. change it yourself or move. thats all i can reccommend... im not trying to argue with you though.......
