If nobody gives a shit then why do I keep getting messages from people I no nothing about saying that I am right and the scene is gay and dead?And you people who read this shit are the ravers at the parties and you all are a major part of the problem.

We are trying. It is for the love of the music at least for me. That is why I still go out after all these years for the sounds of jungle. Where there is jungle there are ill beats and a good place for me to dance. As well, I am friends with a number of local Dj's and I always support my boys and girls. I have always try to be a positive party kid. I know the talent at these parties is not up to the standard of yesteryear, but going out to dance at a party with jungle is one of my favorite past times. Once jungle/drum n bass dies I will stop going to parties and weeklies. Until then I am going to continue going out and enjoying myself. It has never been about the drugs and I think that is where you and a lot of young and older jaded kids went completely wrong. That is why scenes overseas don't die out like ours has.

Actually, most nyc promoters will not use this site due to all the constant drug references. They do not need to have their parties associated with drug use, even if it occurs at the party. They might stop by to post on the calendar or post a flyer, but they don't really browse the boards. You should really go to NRO, and have this discussion. Promoters are constantly using that site to talk, and you'd have a better chance of having your voice heard by them.
