It doesn't sell well in the US, because when it did sell, it became too commodified.

Comments with no argument like that even proves further that you know I am right. Go ahead and pretend you goto raves but ask your big brother or sister what things used to be like and then you will see who is a fuck up. I see no raves in the whole future of the Northeast events list. There is one at the same shitty club Exit in Brooklyn that has raves every week on dance night. I still am waiting for a real party. So goto exit for dance night and when there is finally a rave in NYC you will see the results and people you never have seen before because it is all of us comming back out.

X-Raver, sorry but you, I guess, are an uneducated x-raver talking crap. I haven't been to ravelinks in years and decided to browse the web and see whats happening with raves, but reading your thread I just had to register and post a reply to your dumb-ass renting making no point whats-so-ever!
I grew up in Brooklyn and I went to raves from 1991 until 2003. I traveled & partied (raved) all over the world and I still do it. I am a successful Architect in NY, I have a wife and a child, I am still going to parties and clubs but I won't call myself a raver since I feel I grew out the faze of going to raves. I still party and love electronic music like I always have, but I am just older and as my other x-raver friends, I like to party like an older person. I feel it has something to do with age and in your case its just nostalgia over the old days. YOU ARE JUST GROWING OLDER. Anyway, I guess I was never a "candy-raver" back in the day and I dunno if that is the crowd these days but it had nothing to do with the fall of the rave scene in NYC. You as an old-schooler should know what circumstances and who lead the downfall of NY rave scene. GETTA A F*CKING CLUE AND LAY OF KIDS THAT GO TO RAVES BECAUSE THEY FEEL COMFORTABLE IN THEIR RAVE SEROUNDINGS THEY ENJOY AS WE ONCE DID. PS. read a little about a rave act the congress passed & todays and the ex-Mayers of NYC fight on raves before you make loud farts PSS. Did you forget:RAVE.PEACE.LOVE.UNITY |

95-to what?! oh, oh, I've been parting since the beggining of time. And the drugs I get are SOO good that no ones tried them but me. I used to be so cool and in the know! I knew all the DJ's, I used to drop names like it was my job. oh, oh, I hate everyone now for actually being what they call "ravers". Get real kid, move foward and stop living what was 10 years ago. It's not that serious. You are just one of many that think they're the best party kid in the world. But really your a fuck up that does nothing, but complain about what it used to be. I read you have a right to your opinion, but it really isn't(your opinion),...it's just a carbon copy of many whinney, bitchy elitist "like" you. oh, oh, your such a genius, you alone have figured out why the culture is what it is. We Love you!! I don't know what we do w/out you. YOU FUCKING HERB! "what do you want to do when you grow up" -"a junkie" Grow up.

This thread needs to end, at a rave on a laptop with all of us partying in a circle around the laptop... errrrr.. umm
No really, I want a rave with a 50 foot long wall of speakers that is 12 feet tall, in a warehouse that has a very low ceiling. And a bunch of good, somewhat unknown dj's. Its all about the venu, speaker setup and hard working, good, no name dj's. Hell yah! P.S. it is very important to have a shallow ceiling at the venu. It carries the bass longer and farther. |

Just let me know when there is a rave in NYC not at EXIT in BK. Thats all there is now Exit or some other cheezy shit. Give me a break if you people were around NYC in the 90s then you know what I mean. I am educated I am almost done with my 4 year about to be a Health teacher. But that does not mean that I do not know what raves used to be like if you were around then you know. This shit now is not raves. Its dead and if you were here then you would agree just like everone else who agreed with me on this thread were people who knew what this city used to do. Now its done. Prove me wrong and I will be the first to admit there was actually a RAVE in NYC.
