No shit you goto "raves" but the problem is they are not raves. That is what I meant. Yes, I put Nostrum on my 5.1 surround and have a few people over I guess I can call that a rave too then. You dont know a rave is my point. And the problem is the fact that all you newbies think you goto raves so therefor promoters save money by throwing shitty parties in basements and your all happy. I don't really believe that the newer generation ruined raves. If anything it was the older ones who did it. Shouldn't you have kept the scene alive so to speak? If you saw the decline of the scene, why didn't you do something about it?

LoL I don't go to raves I go to parties.... the outsiders call them raves in my opinion .. the thing that killed the "rave" or partyscene is the idiots who think they can do every type of drug under the sun and who go overboard ODing and making it harder and harder to get the permits... I been around the scene a long time yes I do occasionally do certain club drugs at parties but at same time I dont go and take 5 pills, couple dubs of k and anythign I cna get my hands on it is up to everyone to party responsibly.. If people would just be smart about what they do and others would watch out for those who do be stupid then maybe the scene wouldnt have declined as rapidly as it has .. the newer generation doesnt have as much responsibility as the older does in my opinion

Its not the old schoolers fault. We had to cut down the raves and get our lives into check. I was never a promoter for clubs or a DJ but I went every week with the best crew in NYC and we all knew everone. Now its a bunch of homos praying that the party is 16 and up or they cant even go. Good god its fucking teen dance parties now. So the new people who run shit now are the ones to blame. Not the real supporters. Sorry you still dont understand. This is why I think you all dont know what a rave is.
