I used to go back when xraver used to go. I hadn't gone out for awhile but then i hooked back up with some of the great people i met back then and decided to goto a party they were Djing. Me and the girl i went with were amazed that people still where dressing bascialy the same as people used to. We also noticed it wasn't the same not bad just not the same. One thing that was the same was the music maybe because it was friends of mine but the beats were banging just like back in the day. As for why things change it was becasue of groups like BTS who I knew and everyone just going to do drugs. As for no big partys anymore i remmber the 2000 to 5000 people partys they will never happen now. It cost lots of money to book big venues then you need more money to book the big named Dj's even more money for promoters. If you do all this then only 300 hundered people show your broke. It is about the music but cash rules everything. Its a big risk to do a big party. Back then it was easy they happened all the time now to start it with all the new laws and risks it just won't happen. I'm just hoping for a good weekly like Unity.

Someone in this city has money. That is no excuse. All those kids are not dead. People just are so sick of these new retards that go out. The music is soft the venues are wack and the drugs are not worth it anymore. Please its the new people not just the laws if they made it 18 and up to get in half of these jerks could not get in. And people do not dress the same as they used to. Yes there was a few freaky dressed people back when but now its the thing to do. People will plan their gayness and try to be gayer then the next. It was not about that, people would dress like that for a reason. Now its the cool thing to do when these kids look like idiots.

Bull fucking shit was that the norm. No way you are a fool your older sister is wrong little one. There was a few homos and hardcore freaks not everywhere you look. Those vids are so dumb. One is the extreme freaks which again there was and always will be but when I was a raver there was a select few who would be total freaks and the sameones would be at every party. They also were interesting people most of the time. Now its little shits just trying to be freaks if you have to try to be a freak to think you are cool then you are a new fake raver which 80-90% of these new freaks are. I also am not predjust to real freaks, handle your business I say but you have to be that way for real on the regular. Not some fucking fag who dresses up for a rave then never again (unless Halloween). Give me a break we were not like that so your videos suck. That seamed to me like a whole McDicks full of queers. That was like gay night at one of these new raves.

I've been around for a while now and I do have to say that shit has changed. I don't like where it has gone but things change and thats just life. Thats why I only go to 18+ and 21+ parties now. All I have to say is this.....comp. to get in, 40 jar was half a lick, $10 full dips and mitsubishi bombs. NYC parties were better when thay had more of a gangster vibe to it. Now it seems more like a emo vibe. again let me say that I'm not knocking kids today but I wish this whole candy raver thing never blew up. And dont give me a line of shit about it was like that back in the day. Yeah there were cross dressers, trannies and freaks but they were the freaks and it was just part of the scene. Now it seems like everyone wants to look and act like a Cali kid at a desert party(no offense to Cali kids). All I'm saying is NYC had more of a dark, underground, thug vibe to it and thats what made it hot. Do your thing with parties today. Just relieze that there is nothing unique about it anymore.

Are u nuts. I am a kid in college now. I never have thrown a party or been involved in throwing a party. How the hell could I throw a party. I could tell someone the lineup they need and the venue but thats it. Permits, tickets I no nothing. If anyone says brass monkey was bad they are stupid and I bet you anything they got fake drugs. Those parties are nuts I went to everyone except the 1st. I also do not mean 1998 at all. That was the end of raves about 1999-2000 that time. I mean 1994/93 that time. If anyone ever threw a real party and ever goes to this website is my point of this thread. I want a real rave in nyc again. I know it wont be as good but if roseland was done again it would be great almost guanteed as long as some djs were there. No new pussy shit. It could and should be done.

Dude...those vids were of Micheal Alig and his crew.....he was one of the first to throw illegal outlaw parties...if anything hes more "Old School" than you, and wtf r u talking about my older sister for?
