hey yea can we end this thread or what are we all going to keep posting how x raver has no points and we all hate him when most of u can see some points in his posts although most of it is ridiculous i think he has some points but it isnt the young ass kids who ruined raves its the lack of promoters and the venues just not wanting raves u cant even throw a "rave" anymore the parties are on a much smaller scale then they used to be but back in the day was the prime of the parties so nothing can be compared to that really and like i said in an earlier post this site is called ravelinks search raves and this is the first thing that pops up so all the 12-16 yo's who think they've raved before and truly havent bc u havent raved (sorry ur much to young to even comprehend what a real rave is) think they so cool posting on here but thats not who ruined raves also can this thread be closed bc its over and done with were all repeating the same thing now p.s. incoherent how was that party in BK?

it was okay ....we ended up catching a cab from the mapoint because the walk was hella long, and even with the cab we still had to walk on this bike path for 20 mins be4 we got to the party, when we got there it turned out to be underneith this bride in a large tunnel, there was a shoddy set up for the dj booth and there was no lights anywhere, there were mayb about 90 people tops, the music wasnt that bad either, all in all it was an adventurous night.

No kidding. I know it wont be the same but there could be like 1 or 2 real events in manhattan. Is that to much to ask for. It used to be 4 a month. I say 2 the whole summer. come on why is that a smart ass comment it is a reasonable request.

For tha most part I agree with X-Raver, except for the beating people up & stealing their drugz for resale, & tha line cutting. I'm just az fed up az U, so I feel ya. But there iz still allnighters trhat happen, but hey r few & far between. & there seemz to b a lack of hardkore lately @ all nite events, but that just makes me wanna make my own shit more so I'm not gonna start up a thread about it.

Which kinda got me wondering X-Raver... what waz your idea &/or purpose for making this thread? Were U on here 1 day & read something that just made U snap?

Also X-Raver, do U spin, or make trax? If U don't U might wanna check it out. I've been spinning since like 97 - 98 & I find that it makes me really happy to belt out some mean aural punishment to myself.

U know, I think a dream iz something that somebody can have that doezn't rely on anything but their willpower & desire.

Also don't waste time trying to debate issuez with people that r just "playing around" bcuz you'll just end up more frustrated than b4. I used to spin hard trance/hardstyle. Nostrum,Technoboy all that hard stuff. But now when hard stuff comes on people are confused and dont know what to do. So again the newbies dont understand the music (a whole other issue). What made me start this thread was after I looked over the Northeast rave calendar. I kept scrolling down and kept getting more and more pissed. I didnt expect this thread to be so great but I am glad it turned out big. My hopes are that someone who does promote parties (real parties) will see this and throw a big bash. I dont mean all these little wussy promoters at the Hook. I mean someone real who knows what I mean when they look over my writing. Most people who are older totally agree with me. I can honestly say that I dont know anyone who is happy with this new school rave scene.
