raves are west coast. east coast has been dead. On that note I enjoy parties at clubs without that 'rave' feeling.. There just needs to be more dnb on the weekends..

The West coast rave scene is just as disappointing out there as it is here. I am new to the East coast, just moved out here about 6 months ago from the 303. The scene out there mostly consists of half naked prostitots all fucked up on drugs, etc. over crowded venues, and over priced entry fees... It is all the same wherever you go.

I will pay if they would throw something thats in a venue with a non-pussy lineup. And its not the same everywhere. Cali is way better than here and Europe (i know totally diffrent rules) its fucking pumping. But one man. 1 little huge bash. Give me a break. I was orignally asking for 2. 1 in the summer and 1 in the winter. I have given up on that and just ask for 1 in the summer. I dont care about the price. Promoters if they knew how to promote would be able to pull it off. Thats what they are supposed to do.

Dude, I went to raves from late 98-99 up until 2003-ish and always dressed up. Maybe not like a freak or anything, but who cares? Raves are supposed to be about the music and about being free spirited! If you want drugs, go score some and sit at home by yourself.

hehe where did you see nostrum for $10? i used to goto raves back in the day in th e late 90s and stopped in 2001 cuz the scene in NYC died out. back in the day there were parties every week and i remember going to philly to a party on friday (first day promoting my own party) and then driving to the wave (staten island) to hit another party on saturday night. those were the good days, outlaws and shit....
