Straight from Miami’s Pawn Shop patio to Brooklyn’s Studio B, Made Event launches the very first Sunday School For Degenerates in New York City on August 31st through September 1st, 2008. In order to earn your masters degree in SSFD, the main event will be preceded by the Overboard Boat Party, brought to you by Matter/:Form and then followed up with an all-day open air affair at the aptly named Afterschool Special at The Yard, located on the Gowanus Canal, Brooklyn.

Once again, Made Event brings you a selection of the very best and talented music purveyors from all over the world. Preschool starts with the Overboard Boat Party featuring acclaimed Poker Flat Recordings headmaster Steve Bug and his dear acolyte Adultnapper. The adventure continues at Studio B with the Sunday School For Degenerates party bringing together a selection of the best underground Artists; Dan Berkson & James What (Live), Kate Simko (Live), Mr. C, Martin Landsky and additional special guests. The Degenerate escapades conclude with the Afterschool Special at The Yard, a tree-lined waterside lot on the scenic Gowanus Canal. This all-day grand finale will feature Argy, Cassy, Joel Mull, Zip and additional special guests. Any heavy-handed moralizing will not be included. We are Degenerates!

The SUNDAY SCHOOL FOR DEGENERATES main event Sunday night will now be held upstairs at Rebel. Also, please note the addition of a few more proven Degenerates with Three, Taimur Agha & Crazy Larry rounding out the all-night affair. In order to fully appreciate every minutiae of sound, the experts at Integral Sound will be completely installing and engineering a custom sound system.

Then, the debauchery concludes at Monday’s Afterschool Special at The Yard with Cassy, Joel Mull, Nikola Baytala, Zip and additional special guests. The Yard, located directly on the Gowanus Canal, Brooklyn affords the perfect summer open-air ending with a line-up of the finest music selectors.
