see why the venues are getting smaller is cause the scenes going underground again which in my opinion is a good thing...and dont let the venue throw you off brian paste one of the original djs from the uptown underground that threw some kick ass parties back in the day and truth swanky jones are spinning at bring the funk 3 in nyc on the 7th with db so if they didnt have talent doubt theyd be booked there so dont judge the 5 dollar cover and the venue judge the music please add me on myspace check up for further events

Because I never threw a party maybe. But I can tell what a sick party is and what a sick party is not. And traveling 2 hours for this is way not sick. April Fools 2 was a sick party to travel too. Go look it up. go check the lineup. This is not even a party its a local gathering. If 10 people from NYC are there they're your friends.

Bottom line, this is not a sick party. Never was, never will be. If I was ever driving 2 hours for a "sick party" it was Whistle or like x-raver also, April Fools 2. I mean really, were you even going to parties like that? Because based on you calling your get-together a sick party, I'd have to say no. A sick party was a 72 hour Countdown. Outlaws in a park were sicker than this. The only thing sick about this party is you calling it a sick party. Put some effort into a real party in a real venue in a real location with real talent on the decks and then come promote that shit as a sick party, until then sit down.
