Have you read what I have been saying for ever now. These parties of 20 people are not raves. Shit is dead and new school promoters are not even promoters. Its a joke raves in NYC are dead as of 1999-2001 . 1996 and before was the shit and I am 26 and my first rave I was 14 (94) so I know what you mean. Roseland packed for 20$ with a proper lineup. Now its done in basement clubs. Help us PLease help us ravers who know what a rave is. Why is NYC dead AAHHHHHH.

yes x-raver people do feel the same way as you, but not with such hatred. well what is the reason there stopped being parties at the convention center or roseland or hammerstein...did they get shut down??im sure if we looked hard enough we could find an old warehouse or factory owned by someone who wanted money enough that they would allow something illegally.I dont really know how it works. I cut out a warehouse for sale add the other day, but I dont know what to really be looking for or what is realistic. Even though I dont know the experiences that you guys had, I want the scene to stay alive in a way that it is about all the right things. I love everything about it now, but the world and everything in it is getting more and more about money. Its like how can some of these Djs charge so much for something they love and when they know what they are giving to so many people. Well thats not the whole issue. Would you suggest doing something like a dress code?? I dont know. If everyone who had a strong opinion on the matter became pro active, then maybe something would change. There have been a few outlaws lately, but Im not sure that the new people even want the freaky underground feeling. I dont know... gotaa go
