I know you people have never been to a place in NYC that is huge but they did exsist and just becuase its a few years later does not mean that I should accept it and move on. Go talk to someone about the Rose Castle in Brooklyn before it got shut down. Fucking shit forget it. Glass elevators out side room 2 fucking giants levels of hard beats. Shit dont happen anymore. That was the point.
Well, it appears then that you have two options:
1) DO something about it
or...
2) Stop whining about it.

Sure, mabee i dont know what it was like, but if i did and i was as upset as you seem to be that i would try do do something about it.

It me its like the local DIY scene on long island. It used to be BOOMING then it got dull, so me and my friends started to do DIY shows outta my friends backyard. The first time we had 30 people, the second time we hade 150 people and who knows what the next will bring!

You seem like you've been around a while so u must have the knowlage to get out there and make SOMETHING happen.

Good luck!

Just look at the list there are no real parties in the near future in NYC anytime soon around this time of year. God save the queen this is stupid. This is the worst I have ever seen it damn I never thought it could get worse. Please someone let me know if there is something I am missing.

First off to defend x-raver which I wouldn't normally do, transit is tiny. Craze and a couple of the other djs are great, but then what's left. Now to the point at hand go to the NRO board there are some parties coming up in NYC like passions. Freaky flow, Stakka, ODI, and a bunch of other genre big names. I think it is at the old down time or the old shelter aka speed. Still not what it used to be but there will be a jungle room. THat is what really matters to me. And NYE at the hook for the one set I was there for seemed like kids were having fun. once ODI was done the party ended for me.

go check the sensation white website, it actually is planned to come to NYC.

And yes, it would be awesome if black came here, but i'll take what i can get, ya know. It'll be a hell of a party either way.

I don't understand, Craze and a couple dj's are great, but then whats left.

WOW.....

ok,

SKYNET ?
DYLAN
ELEVATION - ARMADA MUSIC / ANJUNA BEATS- MIAMI
FUNABASHI - ARMADA MUSIC / ANJUNA / COLDHARBOUR - GERMANY
FIRST US APPEARENCE.

were bringing FRESH acts. Not one's everyone has seen twice or 3 times , no matter how good they are.

i do agree, passions is a nice lineup. but i've seen everyone of those dj's 3 - 4 times

i guess it boils down to opinion, i like fresh act over same thing, even though they are all respected artist in their own right

First off there is not a dj on that line up in terms of jungle that I havent seen upwards of a dozen times. Dylan is always around and hasnt been good since 2002. His new shit is not melodic nor have a real steady tempo. He might as well call it hardcore. Craze is always ill along with skynet. What you got to understand is that I do not like much if any house, I hate hardcore, happy hardcore, new nrg, and all of that other stuff. I am just saying there is no reason for anyone anywhere to ever book dylan. He costs money and his sets will bore even the most avid jungle head. As well the venue is tiny, great for a jungle weekly or one off, but I think this is too much for the venue.

PS can you still smoke in venues in PHILLY
