I'm your fairly average west-coast raver from Seattle, WA. and I just moved to the Upstate New York area, New Paltz specifically. I was wondering where to get started over here, can anyone help me out??
suggestions of venues or clubs or upcoming partys in the surrounding area would be awsome!

There is a party October 21st in Albany called WANTED, it's going to be a sweet party. The venue is small but the lineup is golden. There is a thread here with the info on it.... If you get a chance to get up to this one let me know we can meet up inside somewhere. Also there is a halloween party on the 29th of October, called Ghostbusters, there is also a flyer for that one here.... and there are always weekly parties in the area, both up here and down there.

i wouldn't consider this a rave but its a good way to get started into the club scene in the area. if you wanna go to a good rave, come to ghostbusters in queens this saturday.

check out crush,its in brooklyn but the flyer should be on the home page and its this friday the 11th ....and check out the frequency fridays...the F.F are in poughkeepsie and the flyer should also be on the home page,if u need more help finding places let me kno - im new to the scene too here-peace
