Jeff definitely wasn't on top of his game. I heard some fucked up mixes and a skip during "the Bells"
, and I heard some old school classics . |

My boy dave played before mills, and was using abelton, but when mills got on, there was some major technical difficulties, and mills actually played cd's for about 45 minutes. This was complete bullshit. What do you think that would do to a dj that is know for playing very short bsnippits of tracks, and then has to adjust his set and play on fucking cd's. Bullshit.
I almost asked for my money back. But, also, the same shit happened the last time mills played at pacha. What the fuck is up with technical difficulties at a venue that is supposed to be on the forefront of technology. this is shit like this that makes me want to never go out again, and become a hermit. I love Techno, but i am sick of felling like i have to get bent over and done with no lube to be able to go and hear something i dig. If this shit ever happened overseas, people would boycott, it is just a shame that therearen't alot of opportunities to go and hear dj's that i love. Oh and about the fuckups during his set, I don't mind them, and actually think they add some human flavor that lacks when dj's play off of a computer. Big Up Jeff Mills, i am wondering when he is going to say fuck it, and not want to deal with the lack of professionalism, and stop djing in nyc |

yo your boy spun some hot shit, but anyhow, sucks about the equipment failure for Jeff Mills , like i stated earlier ive noticed that shit happening at alot of raves but never at a nightclub....
Not just Jeff ills but a buncha Dj's......When Keoki spun at Exit a few months ago he seemed like he was annoyed with the set up and crowd as well.... Last edited by Incoherent; 29.4.2007 at 9:18 pm.. Reason: automerged doublepost |

I figured something was more wrong than just his mixing, the man mixes off 3 turntables, I doubt he forgot how to mix cleanly lol. I agree with you on the fuckups during his set, they do bring me back to a time before everything was so damn computerized but the skip during "the bells" was a BIG fuckup, I was a little pissed. P.S.- Function ripped it before Mills!!! |
