chicago is the exact same way anymore. i still go out and support my local scene, but really.. we only get like 3-4 good parties a year and at that a "good" party is min 300 max 900. And again, like 3 times a year.

Cali is just the place to be anymore (in amerika at least). Europe is hardcore Berlin ftw

x-raver sounds like some dusty old k-kid that's grownup and thinks his/her scene was the original & best and everything new sucks. yes, it's changed over the years.. everything does. nyc doesn't have a huge rave scene anymore, most places don't.
if x-raver hates the nyc scene so much, maybe he should move. i would hope by living in nyc 27yrs he's old enough and financially stable enough to live where he chooses.
the rave scene as a whole has died down and changed.. it had to. it started as a thing for kids with nothing to do who wanted something different, raves & dance music were fresh and new. nowadays those types of kids have a new outlet(whatever todays version of the rave scene is, i dunno emo-core?) and rave stuff isn't so fresh and new. and most of the original rave kids grewup, got real jobs, stopped poppin stuff, stopped sniffy sniffs, and dancing for 6hrs at a clip.
x-raver, needs to live in the here and now and stop trying to live in those "glory days".
how's the scene in ny? it's stuck to clubs like pacha and whatever other super clubs there are. you're not gonna find stacks of flyers for any parties in feilds or huge undergrounds here. sorry.

You totally contadicted yourself strawberry. "X is stuck in the past" but raves are in clubs and real small. So I am right but am stuck in the past? What the fuck does that mean? First of all if I live in the NYC area I must be $$ stable to live anywhere I know you live in your mothers basment still but I do not. Raves are not why I live here retard (there are no raves just dance night). I do know what I am talking about and becuse raves are not new means they should suck? What the hell does the age of raves matter? If they are not new then it should be easy to throw a great once since they have been around. Why is it that people dont even know what a fuckin party is. They probably use computer speakers hooked up to turntables now. Its the promoters in this area moron. Cali has raves other places west have raves. NYC has great spots for them its just promoters are too cheap and dumb to take advantage of them. I never was a promoter but I know how it works. Its about money retard. They dont get if they invest in a huge bash worth peoples while in a easy acess location like Manhattan they will make money for the next one. Its you young retards to blame. I think raves are supposed to be small? Can you read? I live in an APT in nassau county with my girlfriend college grad and parents are in Florida. So that one is out. And you clearly cant read because all I ever bitch about is how dumb these small raves are. So get a book and read because you need some practice.
