You are right X faggot. I have never traveled for a rave and I am a noob. I wasnt at EDC three weeks ago, Nocturnal and How sweet it is. I didnt go to Innovation in the Dam and I havent traveled up and down this coast and out west for parties. I didnt go to buzz every week back in the day. I am a noob and the parties are shit. Right. Fuckin dick. You are so dumb and get off on putting others down. Once again come see me and we can talk this out. You are the punk bitch that killed the rave scene. Go tell the kids who I am friends with that used to throw these parties you go on about, how what they are doing now is shit and they only got lucky every weekend when you went out. You are a dumb motherfucker who should be banned not only from here but from any rave or rave related event. Dont bother coming out cause no one wants you there. Someone brings a dj you want to see and you still tell them that they are wrong and its not good enough. YOu are stupid and its no surprise that you are a 27 year old UNDERGRAD. DUMBASS

Uhm Ravers Only throws parties out there i was at the first Candyball packed around i believe Smoke said 400? maybe more i don't quite remember. But a good number of people were there and ALL of them were dancing to Hardcore so there is quite a nice very exclusive scene out there

If you plan on making $$ at raves here FORGET IT YOU WILL GO BANKRUPT, shits at basement clubs. I beg of you please come here and goto the Hook in Brooklyn thats really all I have to say to prove my point. If you fucking packed the place fucking packed it and nobody would ever pack it but lets say it happend. No more then 500-600 people tops. This is what new school ravers call a good spot. Trust me I am 27 and was going out at 15 IT IS OVER HERE. Dont listen to these retards trying to stick up for it. They just dont know what a rave even is. That yalepec guy I cant even read his posts anymore he has no creditability. The other guy who says theres still a scene out here knows nothing. Yeah, 50 people dancing to hardcore really is not a rave sorry to burst your bubbles. More like 500 in a 3rd small hardcore room was how it was here. Now its 50 in the main room. Ok, 20 people came out to see Chris Liberator. Do I need to keep going? Its pathetic here and its the promoters faults which I never was or would be.

Hey X ASS HOLE did you read that. You dont like my posts cause they are true. Sorry to burst your bubble fucker. Liberator any of the three have not been in NY recently so check yourself. We still get all the talent its just segregated into genre specific scenes these days with a few exceptions. You talk all this shit, tell me why there are new parties popping up all the time. Why PS1 still packs out, why parties are still able to make money. You are such a jaded dick. You were in it for all the wrong reasons and all the people like you killed the rave scene. You talk so much shit for a person who has no idea. If you were truly there you wouldnt have all this hate. You would know its all about the music and the love but I guess in your never ending khole and dust ball you forgot. Go smoke some more embalming fluid and let your brain swell. You are soon going to need a side car for your ego. You are worthless to us and our scene and Prophet the promoter who you talked shit about, who used to throw a lot of the parties you were at, doesnt want you at his party and none of us want you at any parties. SO STFU and go antagonize another subculture you SCUMFUCK.

Yalepac so back to the topic can you please list some good line ups for August. I really don't give a fuck about number of people present 400, 1000 or 200 kids, as long as the place is packed )) IMO best parties in NYC were at Vynil. NASA and then Unity. Best vibes, best people, definetely my best times.

Ey I would have to agree with general sentiment - cabaret laws and a fascist police force, and the resulting high costs for good venues make good parties few and far between. THAT SAID, we have a bunch of great sound systems, and we still get our party on.

If youre comin through, be sure to check out

If you love good music, you'll find it.
You might not find the cliche costumed "kAnDi kIdZ" scene (thank god) with a million people in one party, but you will find some great venues, DJs, a few renegades and just a generally good time if you keep your mind open.

For me, my passion is for the music, not the "scene", I can dance wherever the vibe is good. *shrugs*

You cant stay on topic on this site. There all candy homos that just argue instead of planning a real rave. These kids call them self promoters and instead of listening to everyone who has partied in NYC for years says the same shit that its dead they just talk shit. Another reason they cant answer your question is becuase THERE ARE NO PACKED REAL RAVES IN NYC. THEY DO NOT HAPPEN. So keep talking shit but when it comes to helping the guy who posted the original question I am the only one telling the truth its over here so if your comming to NYC for a rave and rave only you are going to be soo pissed off and it will cost you$$ to be pissed off so have a great time.

well yah not. i was in the scene back like in 2001. and it was crazy different then it is now. i mean its a very closed community now, there arent to many baby ravers getting in. and im a really really surprised in that NYC is actually the place were raves are when i think of raves. but it hasn't really been the case. yah would think that since the asylem closed down, parties would end up a round here more then ever, but i guess the goverment has it so tight, that its probably hard to even get a party up. i mean, back in the day there wasnt any 18+ age limit. it was 21+ if you wanted to drink (to which no one actually did, not even me) and all ages welcomed. but thats not so much the case anymore. well i mean i guess there are still parties up and running.
