Considering NYC...

i'm consideirng moving to NYC for the summer...I think I already have a place...but I'm looking for general thoughts on raves in and around the city...any coments are helpful...

There is a lot of stuff going on. Move to Brooklyn but dont base where you are moving based on a scene. Who knows six months after you move anywhere it may be dead no matter what scene it is.

I believe you full-heartedly but I wanna get a basis of the culture before I move myself there.

dude...amsterdam is an amazing place...but it can swallow you whole and you'll just never want to leave...red light district and all the drugs r fun, but too much of a good thing is never advisable. I loved the month I spent in amsterdam and cannabis cup was the most bitchin time ive ever had as a stoner, but I would never ever ever live there...the crime rates are really fucked up and to live anywhere around the city would be madness. If I would live anywhere around there I would live in Copenhagen. Awesome little hash town about 20 min south. Great little town...

Well...does anyone else have any other info about parties/raves. I mean I have such a strange feeling about NYC with all the amazing DJs you guys produce...where r the raves normally? Warehouses? Clubs? Anything outdoors? Just wondering...thanx!!!
