I use to be into hip hop back in the day, but now, I not anymore. Wu-tang use to be my shit back in 95-96 before they got C.R.E.A.M. Now there more like ice cream, soft. They we're way better when they were broke. They ain't the same, just like hip hop now a days ain't the same from what it use to be back in 92-97. Shit has gotten commercial and watered down. I lost respect for Method man ever since he did that calabo with fred dirt or whatever his name is. Ever since 2pac and biggy died, hip hop has become more like pop to me. It's all about the money and not the message. I stopped lisning to hip hop and the radio in general since 98 and started to lisn to EDM. I problably could of continued to lisn to under ground hip hop but at the time I discovered hardcore from the likes of Omar santana and Lenny Dee; and guess what ? I've never looked back on it. The day I start lisning to hip hop is the day I see 2 pac and biggy resurrected. And you know that shit ain't happening any day soon.

I never said it sucked. I did say who the hell wants to go to that hip hop event? But I said that in the sense that this is rave site and I want to know about a good rave massive to attend, not something I can hear about on Hot 97. When you posted the flyer I got suepped for nothing. I should of said it in another way , but do you get what I'm saying?

Yes, I would rather goto a rave of this size at the Roseland but cheap ass promoters wont pay. Hip hop is the only thing that is somewhat real. Yes, its commerical but at least they have big events still. If they do then why dont raves.Answer=money. Cheap ass people now dont want to fork over the costs of a big party. Dont tell me that raves are looked on as drug events because hip hop shows are violent and with drugs and the government knows that too. So dont blame them. Blame the new school retards. Hip hop is still going strong and ravers are still in NYC its not like we all of a sudden dissapeared. Its just nothing is worth our while (people who like raves not club night).

Is HH happy hardcore. You fucking dork give me a break thats not even music and to let you know there NEVER EVER EVER NEVER used to be happy hardcore in NYC 10 years ago. If you wanted that gay shit you went to Conn. Another reason why raves suck now is the gay music that these new school ravers (dance clubers) like. I know I cant tell people what music to like I know its fucked up but HH is pussy shit that never used to be here. Yes, I have heard a record or two in NYC with some happy crap of course they had CT. djs here once and a while but no New York heads were getting into that crap. Now people consider HH sets great and a reason to goto a rave. Please give me a fucking break.

Hey X, long time no response to you. I agree with the HHC shit it is complete bull shit and not having a huge jungle party on 420 is shit. It was in NYC ten years ago just not in as high of demand as hard house/trance, jungle and to a much much lesser extent hardcore. That candyball shit is gay.
