I talked to people who were there. They did say there was mad heads there. But the music was awful and the crowd was imbarrising. Hoping around and cheering for nothing. Guess thats a great party to people who dont know what a fucking party even is in the first place.

haha, this thread has degenerated into something pretty dumb. i wasnt crazy about happy hardcore before, but candy ball was really fun and it changed my mind about the music. saying that happy shit is gay is stupid and homophobic. in a sense all raves are gay, you got girls making out with girl, guys with guys, as well as more exotic combinations. but thats what many people like about raves, the general feeling of acceptance and anything-goes. there's good dark stuff, breakcore and whatnot, but it sometimes tend to devolve into moshing, which is no longer a rave. or into an circle of hipster scum, incapable of having fun, standing around smirking and laughing at the 'fags and fairies' who are trying to have a good time. that's not a rave either. honestly, its shit like that which made me stop going to nyc parties, preferring the friendlier philly scene instead, candy ball made me change my mind about ny
