FLIM - Blackmoon, Embryon, Goodfellaz, Toronto Canada This will be Flim's first NYC performance! He is a dominate force in the hard techno genre He is coming all the way form Canada to rock out for us so lets make sure we make him feel right at home in the big apple! Minimal- Acid- Techno / Electro Funk + Dittaphat Janprasert = FLIM If inquiring minds require something a little more comprehensive, we need to go back to where it all started: the beginning. Born in the southern region of Thailand, Flim’s passion for music was evident from birth. By the tender age of six, his village was already cursing his relentless banging of drums and thrashing of guitars. Rock stardom wasn’t far behind, as at age 10, he landed his first gig as a drummer for a local heavy metal outfit, with members 20 years his senior. In 2002, Flim relocated from Thailand to the epicentre of electronic music in Canada - Toronto. Seeking to share his love of music to a new audience, he founded Blackmoon Productions. Flim’s name quickly became synonymous with Canada’s Free Techno scene due to his memorable squat parties at various infiltration sites. Today, he is a favourite of some of Canada’s biggest clubs and promoters and has shared the decks with international talent including, D.A.V.E. the Drummer, Chris Liberator, Julian Liberator, Lenny Dee, and more... Hot on the heels of his spotlight on bpm.tv, this socially conscious Rasta Thai is hard at work in the studio crafting his own brand of funky-acid-tribal-techno. What does the future hold for him? To quote the man himself: “Blackmoon. never die.” GONZO East Music Group, Groove Therapy This man needs no introduction! The legendary limelight resident is back once again behind the decks for you! His sound has changed so many times , and time after time Gonzo continues to rock the shit out of all of you! He has been banging crowds for more then 15 years now and to this day is one of the best djs to ever come out of NYC! He has helped paved the way for the harder sounds in the area since the early 90's. And you never know if he will be in the mood to drop one of his very special anthem sets from back in the day ! JEN MAS vs HARA ISIS Vitus, Tiny MGMT, NYC/Black Tide, GBE, PDX What happens when you pair up two of the fiercest deejanes around on the decks? Total mayhem! Come witness an explosive intertwining of two music genres by two very intense artists, who will be putting together a special tag set just for this event! Jen is known for her hardcore and drum and bass sets infused with turntable trickery, and as of lately some original production works as well. Hailing from Portland, Oregon, Hara Isis first played here last Summer at Jen's Women on Wax event, and made such a lasting impression that she's been asked back several times to play at various East Coast shows. She mainly plays hard drum and bass, also known as tear-out, but to add to the intensity she'll also be dropping some hardcore cuts herself. So prepare yourself for an hour of unpredictable mayhem, infectious energy, and top-notch performances from these two divas of the dark! NICKY TWIST 1st time ever special opening tag DnB set by BIG EARS & THE MANNCHILD Side rooms Darkstar vs Subterranean Jagz Trakatack Suneel Holidaze 4 way tag team CT vs Dr. Wundt vs Negrotron vs Morgan Stoner Praying Mantis Prototype BSB aka Balance, Steff Dawg, and Buonnaducci Sneaker & the Dryer aka BTZ & DL Carlos Castano Soren vs Dice Ethan James Hokilla Leila AND ON THE STAGE THE SKALLY WAG SIDE SHOW featuring DONNY VOMIT & HEATHER HOLIDAY w / special suprise guest This will not be for the weak, if you feel light headed from watching their performance please sit down. They are coming back this year with a whole new show and bringing a very special suprise guest! Dennis the Mennace and the amazing sraight jacket routine He is back again this year with a very serious twist on his performance. This year you will have to look up because dennis will be suspended from the ceiling while trying to escape! Jason and his bed of nails Jason will be laying down on a bed of nails while a sledge hammer will be slammed through a block of ice on his chest! This is a very dangerous trick and we are very excited to have it at collaborate this year. Trakatack and his stilts Be on the lookout for Trackatack on stilts throughout the night. Dont be alarmed if you turn and realize there is a giant standing next to you, its just Jay... Expect clowns, balloons, seious decorations and so much more...
