Direct Drive present:
Saturday August 25th, 2007 DnB Downstairs DJ SEEN (Burner Brothers | [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]) ![]() Playing in a tearing, Hi-energy style of drum and bass, DJ Seen has proven, hands-down, that he can move any crowd. Whether it be his airtight mixing, his wicked throw-ins, or the pure quality of his selection, Seen is all about business. Due to his frequent appearances and dramatic response at top parties, the name DJ Seen has become synonymous with NYC drum and bass. Seen began co-producing with Pish Posh in 1999, bringing his dance floor expertise and fresh ideas to the studio of the American pioneer. Making a rumble from the get go with tunes released on Rawkuts/Rawkus, set the stage for DJ Seen to team with Pish Posh and Chris Thomas as The Burner Brothers. The Burner Brothers have set the pace for Stateside drum and bass, with a stream of floor stormers getting instant approval in their own DJ sets, and play from top UK and US selectors. In the year 2000 DJ Seen added the title of Label Manager of Rawkuts to his credentials, as he attended to the speedy revival of the imprint as an international force until its demise due to corporate take over of the mother label Rawkus. In a city so full of talented DJs, Seen stands out with his hard work, skill, and his infectious festive spirit. ESHIN ([Only registered and activated users can see links. ] | Secret Night Of Science) ![]() DJ Eshin first began DJing in 2000 as he began taking hip-hop tunes from his bedroom to house parties in the NYC area. Although he first delved into electronic music in 1996, Eshin did not start experimenting with DnB in his DJ sets until 2002 and hasn't looked back since then. Eshin made a big splash in 2004 by launching the eclectic Wednesday night weekly No Jacket Required in NYC with DJ/promoting partner Doctor Faustus. While the weekly finished its run a year after its launch, No Jacket Required still exists today as a NYC monthly event, bringing in prominent DnB talent from around the world, as well as NYCs finest. Eshin is also collaborating with Direct Drive, which has been a staple in the NYC dance scene for the past 8 years. Spanning from melodic and dubby sounds to tech-step and jump-up, Eshin showcases the ability to explore multiple styles in his sets. Eshin has played alongside international talent including Goldie, Total Science, Marcus Intalex, Pendulum, Sub Focus, Klute, London Elektricity, Juju, Logistics, and Digital, among others. As a member of the electronic music collective Bassbot, Eshin continues to spread his diverse sound in the American DnB circuit and beyond. *Welcome Home Bash* MOUSKY (NYC) ![]() Born and raised in Manhattan, Marc Mousky has been obsessed with music from day 1. After singing in a metal band in high school, he started DJing drum n' bass and hip-hop while attending George Washington University in Washington D.C. After years of countless house parties, a weekly show on gwradio.com, and a residency at Cafe Japone, Mousky moved back to NYC. He has played at Club Shelter, Camouflage, Direct Drive, Konkrete Jungle and Bassbot parties, and has traveled to Buenos Aires to rock 160+, the #1 drum n' bass party in Argentina. Rockin' everything from techstep to ragga, liquid to jump-up, even the occasional hiphop or techno set, Mousky never fails to keep the dancefloor movin' with A1 selection and tight mixing.
