Party in the Pines???

hey, i have had a dream of starting a rave scene in south jersey for a while. there is no scene here at all and most people dont understand the different genres of electronic music. i would like to bring the culture of the city out here to the woods.

we have huge pit parties deep in the woods all the time with very very few problems concerning police.

we have loud music lots of people and have even had big fireworks with no problems.

a few generators (idk how many) could power a sound system and lights... probably cheaper than renting a warehouse in the city.

i think we could definatly pull off successful parties as long as we dont advertise too much and keep the location to word of mouth only.

people will need to carpool, bring a bunch of people in a van/truck/suv instead of having 100 cars trying to drive way back in the woods.

if we can find and set up many different locations, we could always be moving and that would make it hard for us to be stopped.

this is the future of rave culture, we need to expand.

i know at least one great spot right now and am currently on the look out for more. i can build a dancefloor and set up some kind of walls, maybe using big tarps or fencing or something.

hit me back, spread the word, this will take much planning, not to mention money and efforts. but the money will be made back at the events and the efforts will have paid off when you see the faces on the people dancing there hearts out.

i Completly agree with you here. The woods is the best specially in south jersey! everyone would love it. I say find people who have to money to front right now. I mean if this goes as planned then hey it could happen alot and the summer is coming up... Better than nothing over the summer. Everyone just goes to the shore lets have a party!

I'll be taking a road trip to Wildwood around July 25. I've never actually been to a rave before, but if something is going down around July 25, I'll definitely be there.

im originally from jersey. i moved to LA a year and a half ago and started raving. now me, my sister, and my boyfriend are all going to jersey from july 24 to august 3 and we reallly wanna check out a rave there. but i dont know of any. lol. any one have any suggestions???

I was living in New Jersey 2 years ago, now i live in LONG ISLAND,but I like the Idea about Raving in the Pine Barrens... Maybe for Next Summer i can help you with some power supply im planing to buy. I normally hang out in New Jersey because my friends live there.
