What to expect

I have never been to a rave before and was thinking about going to gods basement on the 21st. I've read a couple threads where people talked about wearing costumes. Is this the norm? What should I expect to see? This is something I really want to try out, if nothing else at least it should be interesting experience.

Also what is the frequency of drug use? Is it pretty rampant thing or is it limited to just a few ravers? I've seen plenty of people on here saying they stay sober, but still my curiosity has been piqued.

Wow U really dont want info LOL good luck with 21st and everyone is sober, Drugs what drugs. Raves are for sober people to dance Sry. Screw it I know I new to RL But I am throwing it out there any way, NARC Sorry if I am wrong but sounds like to me

hahah. wear what you want..the costume thing was for halloween...but people dress fun. Just show up. try is out. no further info needed. If you go o n the 21st, a lot of people will be missing...it's the day before thanksgiving so people are busy. good luck!

Not a NARC, just genuinely new to the scene. But I can understand your apprehension. I wouldn't want the Fuzz intruding on my good time either. Maybe I'll see you out there and then you'll know for sure.

hey Dre,

Im new to the rave seen as well. i think i am going to check out gods next week as well. I don't really know anyone, but i think it might be fun to go check things out. I've been at Drexel University in philly for a little over 3 years now, and never really went to any raves. It nice to know i might not be the only newbie to be going!
