I was and still am a supporter of happycore. Frolic was a major headliner for about 3 years in the late 90's.

I saw him about 3 yrs with Micro in DC. Brought back old memories.

It's harder to find the pitched up cheese ass carnival crap Frolic used to spin, but I prefer the trancier/break beat influenced stuff that's been coming out lately.

try newer compilations like, hardcore nation 1 and 2, hardcore heaven 1 and 2, hardcore tsunami/tunez, bonkers. and they should'nt have stopped happy 2b hardcore

happy hardcore is the greatest type of music imo. its what got me into the scene and its what has kept me in it. D&B is good but it just doesnt give me that undeniable compultion to run around the room and dance till i drop like H. hardcore does....it will never die. europe and canada loves it too much to let that happen, now a days hardcore is just changing. BUT it's still happy and it's still hardcore
