aww, space was the shit, and there's definitely still plenty of vacant warehouses round fishtown. i started going to philly parties again after they had that space-reunion at the collins house. but yeah, space used to be 17+ while still serving alcohol, so a reincarnation of it would face the same problems as collins/god's/old space. its really just a matter of finding a reusable warehouse, cuz space was huge and had too rooms, while god's had two small rooms, and collins just the one unless you got partitions. i do think philly's enough of a nexus for the surrounding areas to host massive parties, people just need to be bribing authorities better.

the reason for this: it is illegal to serve alcohol in a room where people under 21 are present in the state of pennsylvania. |

Exactly... you would have to involve the other "crews" because otherwise without their support you'd have nothing to begin with.

Now that I'm thinking about it more your right. Philly couldn't possibly have Space return and for it to be successful. Too many DJs/Promoters and party kids in this area are too busy dealing with their own personal interests and agendas. That would definitely crush the spirit that made the original so much fun.
Thats exactly why other cities have venues where multi-promoting companies are successful in executing such events. Granted, Space got hairy at the end... and shady stuff definitely went down. But what major Rave city across the US didn't have the same problems? Quote:

DZA's got a point, having too many crews fighting for control is a very bad thing and will lead to nothing getting done. The less people that are in control, the more shit will get done.
