Overwhelming Mixed Reviews on Space (Thank you all for your feedback)

I want to clear up the Air. First in foremost, the orginal space is dead and gone. To teh old school ravers, it was a place that allowed alot of local talent to get a start while have some major talent come in every now and then. It was shady at the end and there were other issues that alot of people don't know about. (personal ones with the owners of Space)

That being said, let me give you some back ground on myself. I have traveled all over the US and Europe gonig to Parties, talkng to promoters and of course raving out myself.

Our idea is not necessarly based off of Space but the Original Idea of Space.

Some would remember SPACE is the Place. (to hear music, to party if you choice but most of all not to be judged) We will have a legit liquor license. and we will also have 3-5 day events. The ones that Europe, and Cali have. We will be doing cross promotions with companies and DJ's across US. However now comes in where you guys get some control, Lets see what Rave Links and word of mouth can do. I am putting a 1 month contest into affect if we can get 1,000 people to post and say they will come to THE NEW SPACE on RaveLInks THEN LETS JUST SAY Watchout for Opening Night, I have talked to my investors and we have decided that for Opening night we will be allowing if the word gets out, Every in for Free who comes out and there will also be a special Item give to you that will alow you access to all our major events for Free. Are we worried about the money NO ( in Business 90 percent of all companies are in the Red the first two start up years, we have the backing and we won't go away. So please let me haer you guys. Also As i said before Look for the symbols they are coming in the End of July and August, They will begin to show you the WAY.

"Mixed" reviews? I haven't seen much criticism to opening a new venue here in the city. As far as legal clubs are concerned, what do we have? Fluid, Transit & Shampoo are the big three. Fluid is extremely small, Transit's acoustics & sound system sucks, and most of Shampoo's parties blow. We NEED a club that cares about the music, seriously.

When are you planning on opening this place?

Not only would I be interested to club there, but I would love to get a shot to spin there. Everywhere I go there is no support for the ElectroHouse that I spin and I end up spinning generic hip hop bull... DJ Bware will be there with bells and whistles.[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

No there are a few good dance clubs in philly (maybe 3 on a good night) and no I haven't been to D.C. stupid this is a philly forum.

clearly, you don't go out very much in philadelphia because electrohouse is everywhere.

yeah no one from philly would ever go down to DC amirite

nah seriously, DC's got a good club scene down there...the GLOW people (for trance) and Buzz Life crew (for house) are the big ones, and i think other folks do random parties around. i think there's been at least one Electro DJ every time i go to a buzz party, but they're kinda estranged right now since they broke it off with their old space, Club FUR. rumor has it they're moving to club Ibiza though...

everyone loves legit clubs. and philly is dying for more.
as for getting a 1000 posts?? that is a bit much and besides alot more people use newraveorder.com

bring us a safe place to party and music, and the crowd will do the rest.
