Sup ya'll names Chris. I have been listening to trance music since I was 14. I got my first listen to the music when I was 11 my cousin took me to a concert in D.C. back in 1992. Only thing I remember is a song "O Fortuna" by Apotheosis. Anyway got into the music when I was 14 started going to shows in the city when I was 17 in 1998. Been loving the music ever since. I was there weekly at Space, Motion & The warehouse until all 3 went out of business. I love trance, techno, house, gabber, hard house, hard trance and I enjoy DnB & Jungle

I hope to get a lot out of this board. I'm always trying to find shows of international talent that I enjoy...but most of the time I end up simply traveling to D.C. or New York City to do so.

To be honest I only really got back into the swing of things with the scene over the last year or so. I had a buddy who used to go with me all the time to shows but he moved to Miami in 2003. I used to do club promotions for Egypt & The Warehouse then gave him the job as I couldn't do it anymore as I was in school. It sucks because the rest of my friends a few of them enjoy the music, but all are lazy potheads who only want to sit at home and play video games *sigh*. I also had obligations as I started up my own business and for a good two didn't have the funds to really be able to go all out every weekend. I now have a g/f who loves dancing like me so it's been nice we've been doing it up for awhile now!

Shout out to anyone who was around during Motion & Space. I look forward to this message board!

Any good websites with upcoming party listings? There used to be a ton of sites!

just watch the philly board if your in the area, it is always popping up with things. there are a few weeklies that happen at bars around the city, if thats your thing.
