Is This Pex's Parties?

I wouldn't hold my breath for another event there. Not that I have an offical source but I do know that the police did come in FULL FORCE and it's unlikly that they will be having events any time soon if ever. To be honest you missed one of the best events I've ever been involved with or attended. It was an amazing experience. To the point it was too good to last. We are at a strange point in time. I'm sure you are all aware of what happened at the Collins this past Friday and I heard the Vaccum is shut down too. I'm going to say that everyone should just be careful. The current political climate coupled with the fact that we have a new mayor and police cheif means that what we have enjoyed so freely in the past may be just that... in the past, for a time that is. This is all part of a normal cycle that the party scene goes through. They shut us down, we chill out for a bit, and then start back up some time later only to have it blow up again and the cycle starts again. Ahhhh the circle of life.

The PEX folks are extremely devoted and very community-driven, as long as disillusioned burners and the people who wish they had the cash for Burning Man still want to party around the year, someone's gonna be there.

I completely agree. I just wouldn't expect one next week or something. Things go in cycles. We have a new mayor and police cheif so what are they doing... flexing their muscles and showing off for the people. What ever, I've been around long enough to know that busts are never the end of the scene just force us to get a little creative. What I do suggest is don't be so open on these boards. Let's get real you have to know that there are lurkers and narcs on here. Just be smart about things.
