its still the best party in philly ive ever been to no doubt, im pretty sure it was shut down for a little but shes back now and yeah its still more underground compared to a legit club, and yeah you walk in that fuckin door and down those steps and all the sudden youve just entered another world man crazy.

Yea There was only one party down stairs back then, it was always upstair. I personally like the upstairs better. Cool, I have to go again. I had to quit due to I had a kid on the way.lol( although I loved raving and spinning,kids were well worth it). Any how, I have became bored and was looking to buy some new turntables,mermories came back googled God's and Bam I am on ravelinks.LOL But I couldnt believe some of the names are still around.

Hahah wow! She ddin't close, just moved. They used to be upstairs and had to be moved down stairs. I'm suprised since back then it wasn't ever really called God's. What happened was people started getting confused and calling the venue god's basement when the party that was being thrown was just called that...but it stuck and is God's. The vibe is DEFINITLY still amazing. I can't get the family feelign from any other venue...besides maybe the Vaudeville which is no longer around... but yea...it is such an amazing place. I love it there. And I have a kid too, so I know what you mean. I took some time off, and I'm back, dancing and sober so wooo! Come visit my family at God's!
