Either way I should be there unless something comes up and I get called in to work, im trying to pick up a lot of hours since my girl and I broke up to just be busy and not dwell on things.

I hear ya dude, I hear ya.

I know a lot of heads live closer/in Philly or Jersey and its tough to make it out my way, especially during the week! One of the main reasons I wanted/started to do meetups in my area is due to the fact that I've traveled many many times to Philly, Jersey, and/or NYC for parties save for 2 that were in my area. Plus, I've always wanted to just chill with some of the heads on here and with those I've chatted with at parties but never had the timeframe to do so in a regular environment, not cracked out from being up all night or busy being somewhere else not partying. Plus, I can simply walk to The Pillar from my house (like a block and a half away!)

I know of 1 hookah spot in Philly -- "The Aromatic House of KaBob" on 113 Chestnut St. I've eaten there once and the food was pretty good but as opinions on various pages point out and I would agree, its not a very "loungy" atmosphere and the appearance is strictly that of a pretty small diner. Not to say I wouldn't just go there to hang out or that that's the only chill coffee/hookah spot in
Philly but The Pillar, in my area, has the perfect loungy atmosphere, the service is awesome, and the people there are nice as fuck!

That being said, I wouldn't mind meeting up in the future closer/in the Phillly area during the week for a meetup. I know of maybe 2 or 3 fun spots to hit up in my area and am planning on having meetups there throughout the next couple of months or so, depending on scheduling, $$, and how busy everyone is w/ school, work, etc. We got a place called "The Works" over here, which is like a mini Dave n' Busters. There's also a laser tag venue called "Laser Quest", which I was a member of back in the summer of '96. One of the last ones is the former "Family Grand Prix" which is now called Ozzies". Each of those spots are a more "fun" place where you can play games and stuff, and I'm looking forward to seeing people come out to those places once I setup a day we can all meet there and hang out.

I'll do some research as to fun/chill meetup spots to hit up in Philly and the surrounding areas and will gladly take some ideas for future spots to hit up.

Byblos

and Shouk.

Byblos is a great place, but it can get overcrowded very quickly. Pretty expensive at times.

Shouk is all around good. Right off of south street.


But anyways, I'm down for sure on Wednesday!
