DC anyone?

i'm new to the DC area and i was wondering if anyone knew of any parties or at least any forums/sites for DC area raves. thanks!

Did you try a google search of DC area clubs and parties? Did you try going to clothing shops that sell raver clothes.... or to nightclubs in the area and look for flyers? I know that the malls in DC have shops that sell UFO's and ESDJCO clothes, amongst many other brands. Go there and talk to the employees, many of them go to raves and/or nightclubs.

It doesn't seem like DC/Baltimore is well represented here. Is it becuase there isn't much of a scnene outside of clubs or are listings just elsewhere?

That is definitely a problem in the DC/Baltimore area.

I lived in Southern and Northern Virginia for 18 years. There just isn't a scene in the VA/DC/MD area, unfortunatly.

There's a decent scene in DC, it just depends on what you're into.

Cubik - Fridays @ Nation - [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] - dnb, house, breaks, trance
Alias - Thursdays @ Nation - breaks & dnb (hit me up for reduced list)
D&B Sessions - Last Wednesday of each month @ Five - dnb
There's a night every Friday at Five as well, and there's a place called Fur that does a lot of trance on Saturdays but the security people are real assholes. There are also a ton of other smaller/newer parties that go on, I suggest using the buzzlife message board as most of these parties do their advertising on there... it's really a staple for the entire DC scene.

what are you talking about. if anything, MD hosts one of the largest raves annually on the east coast, Starscape by Ultraworld.

NEWSFLASH... Starscape sucks now. I regret paying to get in last year. Most people that like starscape have never been to a real good rave. There are a few other good events and Ive stumbled upon some damn good warehouse parties in the City.
