Boston Trance. DJs? Venues?

I live in boston. And as far as I know the only regular Trance event is Psyforia, which is exclusive to Psy-Trance.

Are there any other venues/events in Boston that showcase Trance in Boston, ever (Other than one or two "superstar" djs at Avalon every now and then)?

Also, any Trance DJs around?

I think something might need to be done, and I think I might do it

Hi Sir Kibbles!! Chris Xanthus here. Dont forget that I spin Trance. I'm sure you havent forgotten.. There are a few local friends of mine that spin Trance and not Psytrance (like DJ Axon and DJ Carnage) but there does seem to be a lack of venues. The Boston scene really has always been pretty unexistant and unfortunately will probrably not change too much. I think people here are just too closed minded and just dont have a clue about much. I personally cant wait to move out of this stupid little town and get back to the life I've been missing back home in Cali..

At least we have Circle.. !!! Last Thursday was something special. Circle is what this town needs and maybe a few larger occasional one-offs if that would be possible to throw off. There have been efforts in the past but it has always been a difficult town.

No doubt this town is difficult. But I think with a little promotion and help from crews like circle some good one-offs are more than possible. I plan on throwing one at the elks lodge in central square around springtime, breakin', house' and graf competitions upstairs and some harder, faster styles (Trance, Harstyle, Nrg, Hard House, etc) downtsairs. I think by bringing a couple crews together and having a headlining live act like Freezepop or something it could really go off.

If you have any info on other one-offs that went down in boston (that is legally) some info would be killer since I want to know what problems I'm facing before I hit them.

Just a note, I've been to a renegade party in Nor Cal every weekend for the last two months. Cali is bangin.

Oh, and there's lots of trance...not that I'm trying to convince anyone either way.
