Note: These files will be available for download April 9, 2006 umm, sometime in the afternoon! Im uploading them to the server as I type this. Thanks!
This was my first massive and it was my very first time at the Orange Show in San Bernardino. It was December 31st 1994, New Years Eve and this place was packed so I had a feeling a good time was going to be had by all. My biggest regret is...I wish I could have recorded Moby's entire performance, only got a few minutes and you can tell it was fucken amazing. I wish I could have recorded a little more of Frankie Bones' set but alas, ....bah! I wish I could have recorded Young American Primitive and Adam X's set but I guess I had better things to do elsewhere?? Yep...I was too fucken busy in the restroom, videotaping the drag queens changing panties!!!! God Im such an I-D-I-O-T!!!! I have split the entire video into 3 clips for easier download. Pay close attention to the music throughout the videos, you'll hear some classic shit! By the way, that house room was rockin that night!!!!! Enjoy! Ahhh...Plantasia.
Moby broke out some punk in the middle of an old skool techno set, stopped everybody for a second....and then...mad mosh pits broke out instantly! "...its something i've been kinda working on and I just thought i've give it try tonight...hope you guys like it" (Moby taking a quick break and introducing his punk track for the night) Frankie Bones...err...ummm...yeah. At the end of his set, he went to the end of the stage and starting egging the crowd on.....then proceeded to stage dive. You mad crazy stage diver you! Sadly though, EVERYONE backed up at this point. Ouch. The kicker of the evening was SUPPOSED to be a UFO in the main room @ midnite. It was SUPPOSED to have lights and smoke and all kinds of gizmos AND the DJ was to come out of it. What came down was an upsidedown pie tin that hung there for what seemed an eternity, did nothing and went back up. Hmmmm. Anyway, had loads of fun and is still one of my favorite raves! One of those parties were you were giving hugs to everybody on the way out! Tons of peeps there as the party was promoted insanely! The first edition of the flyers had a textured cover. I remember hearing that one of the the girls on the flyer was later seen in a playboy vid. Thx Old School! These vids bring back some GOOD memories! |

Thanks for another great vid Old School. BTW, who was that dude spinning (ambient????) in vid #2? (the guy in the silver suit) Also Thee-O if possible, I would love to hear your set from that night! OK, now I'm gonna go watch the Jujubeats footage again ![]() |
