Is it really necessary to shoot shit at everyone? They were all probably rolling balls and just dancing. The last thing people rolling want to do is get confrontational. They would be just as happy to be asked to leave then fight back.

There are better ways to handle things. What ever happened to diplomacy?

I can see if let's say, only 10 officers were raiding a rave and needed to subdue the crowd for their own safety. However, there was like 100 cops there. I think they could have handled the drugged out crowd with some basic crowd control techniques. Possibly the words, leave now or you will be arrested might work? I doubt many ravers are going to stand their ground and defend a rave if it involves violence and possible jail time.
