So for all of you house/progressive heads out there, my name is Jack Martin, and Ive been djing in southern california for the last six years or so... I used to play a lot of house and trance (before the scene died!) at clubs like Rubber and Diezel in Orange County, the Circle Bar up in Santa Monica, and local Long Beach clubs like Sachi and Gaslamp...
But lately its been catering to a lot of hip pop and top 40 crap at most gigs - thats all it seems like anyone wants to dance to in the local club scene!!
So the good news is, the beautiful V20 in Long Beach has given me the green light to play house & progressive all night every thursday, and a free list to bring people in (well, you have to be there before 10:30!) - so thats the plan
