House music did derive from Disco roots, and is a hallmark of the homosexual culture. Many house listeners are gay-but so are many of every type of music almost.

I can see the question being-is there an affiliation between gay people and enjoying house music?

It's like saying there are black people who listen to rap-it's part of their culture, I'm not saying they don't like it but when a large portion listen you are thrown into a world of music, like it or not.
