That simply isn't true. while the amen break is the center piece to many a DNB track I would have to say that Kraftwerk is and will always be the sole inspiration of electronic music. Listen and learn. I will always be the student when music is the teacher. |

I loves deep house. Ive been spinnin tribal and deep shit for 10 years now. However what i have come to produce has been very different. Favorite track of all time is "the way" by Global Communications. CHeck me out peeps. william the monQ on myspace music.

You know what's funny. Back around 1999-2004, I used to despise deep house. Maybe it's because I grew up in Southern California and everybody and their grandmother was into it. Maybe because, as a trance dj, house was king at the time and it was tough to sell my sound against it. I don't know. But now, as I get older, I'm really digging it. So much, that I'm picking it up as a second genre. Sure beats that electro house going around. Anyway. Acid house and deep house are definitely in my system and to be honest. I'm loving it.

Wow, been awhile since I have been on here and am surprised that this thread isn't bigger.
Anyway, Ian Pooley is pretty awesome. I have been listening to him since around 98-99. |
