actually the original "gabber" and "hardcore" sounds were happy. if you listen to old rotterdam it all sounds like what would be considered "happy hardcore" today. the original u.k. hardcore (breakbeat music) was a combination of sounds ranging from light piano house to dark style which would eventually become jungle. and, "happy hardcore" is a combination of these sounds . . . but who gives a fuck if people wana listen to happy or gabber or speed its all just hardcore!! such is the nature of dance that hardcore and all its subgenres get absolutely no respect whatsoever and everyone who supports hardcore needs to stick together and help the scene grow (which most do), support you local hardcore dj no matter what style they spin because all the syles are related.

Personally i dont give a shit about what the other people listen to. as long as u do what ur HAPPY with that is all that matters to me. So u all should just be good with what u like and dont bother others for what they do, we all like the same genre and thats whats we need see.
