I'm not one to normally bitch about MODS, but C'mon!!!

Why can't i promote different events in different parts of the country in the forums that people ACTUALLY read?

If i had put that in the SoCal Promoters section only several people would have seen it.

and then it would have been moved anyways.

Fuck you mods, you obviously don't even care about raving or EDM.
I personally want every one to know about the scene more than just their region, but whatev.

the thing is...i REALLY want more people to see that festival.

its larger in terms of DJs(300+ ) than Ultra and IMO better quality because they have more genres and its three days in the midwest outdoors, only 50 dollars now(was 25 to start) and the visuals are gonna be monstrous.

I really am hoping i dont forget about it and its still around next year....

300+ DJ festival for 3 days camping in the outdoors and then Love Parade in Germany....

rofl. fuck that party. its such a fucking waste. i had a convo last year with the crew that throws it about why theyre wasting their money and time throwing something like this in the middle of america instead of the west coast where the burner music actually has a fan base. plus the fact that they have no headliners at all makes it a waste of flight money and hotel cash to go there for it.

they replied that its being held in the middle of the country because thats the halfway point for the east and west coast and they want to make it fair for both sides to get there..........thats the most fucked up reasoning ive ever heard.

they have no names to justify anybody going to this that doesnt live within a driving distance of the party.

in all honosty it did sound like a fun event but a total epic failure on there part not to hold this in norcal, or somewhere in socal area. hell even holding this in washington would be better then where theyre doing it









as for your OP. i completly agree. this site has gotten completly out of control. they dont give a flying FUCK about raves, raving, or ravers. theyre only holding onto the name RAVELINKS to milk it for as much cash as they can. its a shame that someone with some cash doesnt come forward and buy the domain from them. get the site back on track. the fact that theyre penelizing you now for talking about parties is completly rediculous. my account is so restricted now that i cant even have the same signature ive had for 2 years anymore.

read the whole thread and why they are doing it. they want to revive the midwest scene.

and you might say "well i dont know 90% of those DJs...hell thats why i WOULD wanna go.

and hell...even if there are not main headliners:

for 25 dollars for the original price you get to camp out for three days. see 300+ DJs both indoors and outdoors.
lighting shows, fire poi, art, themed acts, and tons of people.

They are offering shuttles from three surrounding states for as little as 75 dollars.


people drive down from norcal for Electric Daisy Carnival which costs 150 or maybe even more for gas, and then more for the event. and then if you dont have friends you have to buy a hotel room.


i dont blame the crew...i blame a lack of will for EDM fans across the mid-west if its a bust...but thats exactly what they are trying to do...gain more interest.

dont think the festival sucks because it would be a waste....doesnt change the fact that its a great production....
