thats cool and your thoughts but dont be afraid of the facts...
-those are 2 different event companies
-however, both average around 1500min to 2500 people an event
-established themselves for many years in the LA rave scene for producing some of LAs best annual events. (I guess that is why Go Ventures invited Cosmic Events to co-produce the Love Festival in the Summer of 2006 on the LA Sports Arena grounds.)
-neither has had an event shut down ever (it doesnt matter how good an event looks before or how great the vibe is, if its shut down after you paid and were there for an hour or so, sometimes less, its BS not to mention you have to be careful of whacked out people on the road or others leaving the event or even worse you might be one of those non-sober people that could end up in a not so great situation for you and your friends)
Isnt it more PLURr to have a place to party all night safely and for the love of the music than to promise a bunch of free candy.
Go for the production and artists.

ABTS was probably the most disappointing party of 2006. I felt ripped off because I was stupid enough to get VIP tickets. I still haven't gotten the taste out of my mouth from that party.

What makes you think I wouldn't throw a party myself rather than go to a ABTS TY party? I can't believe you even asked that question. Read up on some of the recap threads...

i'm just trying to figure out why YOU the people that attend these events have such bad things to say about the companies that produce most of the larger events in your area.
Some of these event coordinators go way out of their way to make sure you have a safe place to party ALL NIGHT while some others that say that they are there only for the love of the scene yet risk your safety just blocks from some of the most dangerous areas in los angeles. it just doesnt make sense

it seems like only the parties that go all night get hated on.
why is that?
