Any educated mind will know, that Latino was a label that was created in the system, so it will be easier for the government to track he/she and label them. I usually don't label my self Asian on the check list of what is one's race, when applying for a job or any contract that ask for race of origin--I check un-declined or other.

This should be the correct title "why don't you see that many black guys at raves" because one would definitely tell if they are there, its not hard to differentiate.

I rather have Latino instead of Hispanic (since apparently both terms are taboo) because Hispanic is accepting and in way taking pride in the colonization of certain groups of people by the spanish. Fuck the label shit but if there has to be a label used I prefer Latino since it's the spanish form of Latin. The term Hispanic is more insulting than Latino. Recently the u.s government (1997) decided to use the term Latino to classify people with latin heritage.

Shit I want them to know i'm mexican because I want them to see the people coming up!
