What fascinates you?
I've realized lately that the fascinating things in life deserve a lot more of my attention.
I went as far as to make a list, so I'm curious to see what you're all fascinated by too! Be as specific or as vague as you like. I'll start us off with... HUMAN BEHAVIOR! I love how we're incredibly complex beings but that our motivations often times can be as basic as possible, ie. pleasure, avoidance of pain, etc. can't wait to see what manifests in this thread

social interactions between the animal species homo sapiens. we're a wacky cooky bunch, and most think we're all so high and mighty and above this world. psh..
the ego. and attempted loss of it through hallucinogens to humble onesself amongst this world the fucking stars man, straight up...

i'm fascinated by some animals for the same reasons you're fascinated by humans. look at elephants!! they're amazingly intelligent and are capable of emotions in ways very similar to our own, it's incredible to see.

iinteresting, so i'm seeing a lot of focus on people, animals, god, the mind and space
i think what makes things fascinating is the dual nature of them.. like animals being non-human but expressing human characteristics, or the mind wanting to be both separate and at One with reality aren't paradoxes the shit?

everything fascinates me ... to some degree.
I rephase that. almost everything. people, human interactions, animals, animal interactions, ants and other insects, dreams, Consciousness, lucid dreams, life, love, the world, change, time, creation, music, art, galaxies, the universe, ideas, thoughts, the mind and so on. what fascinates me from each of these may be small ... others maybe not, but they all do, in atleast one way.

One thing I can think of is space. Lately been doing allot of thinking about just everything to do with things bigger than ourselves. Not meaning religion at all, but just what the hell is out there.

the nature of reality and what it means to be conscious--and how you have no idea what it's like to be through my eyes as i have no idea through yours. the center of our own universe, manipulating our environment...
here's the tickler for me always: how there are no real "solid" objects, in the sense that this keyboard i'm typing on is actually a bajillion atoms vibrating around at different speeds than the atoms that make up the air around it. is there reality? or is this world a creation of my own conscious thought? every person is the center of their own universe... very buddhist type ideals, but it gets u thinking.. i say we all get down on some dmt and philosophize life!
