I know it's not a rave, but Benassi is spinning on Friday, then 4 Strings on Saturday at On Broadway in SD. I live in OC but I'll probably be going both nights

Sd is fucking awesome, well, if you are of age. SD is tight-knit and a little tribal at times...which is dope. Check ************* for cool people in our area!

Haha, you all think the SD scene sucks because there aren't huge parties full of rolled out kids with Reza and Thee-o spinning :P

The scene down here is definitely alive, and at times even kicking! Yeah, lots of the regular events are in clubs, but we definitely have our handfuls of undergrounds and other tasty events. We also do just about the best day parties in all of SoCal. The best way I can describe it is this:

If you can't enjoy EDM without copious amounts of drugs or while being around people on copious amounts of drugs, then the SD scene isn't for you.

Then again, you probably wouldn't enjoy any real rave scene (read: non drug hangout), if the above applies to you.
