Hey, does anyone know any good "Trip Hop" artists or anything like the trip hop sound? Just recently discovered the genre.

Dude, you just found out about it?

Good, because trip-hop is fuckin awesome...

I highly recommend:
MASSIVE ATTACK
DJ KRUSH - my absolute fav
DJ SHADOW (not all his stuff is triphop, though, but incredible)
UNKLE (with DJ Shadow collaborating)

Others - good:
TRICKY (more mainstream)
SNEAKER PIMPS (more mainstream)
AIR
MORCHEEBA
SOULSTICE (very "organic" trip hop)
even TELEPOPMUSIK has done some really good trip hop

Trip-hop is one of the worst things to come out of England, and that's saying a lot.

In addition to what everyone else has said (except for Ladytron; I wouldn't really consider them to be trip-hop):

Death in Vegas, Boards of Canada, The Golden Palominos, Swandive, Lovage, Handsome Boy Modeling School, Zero 7, Moloko, Hooverphonic, Groove Armada....

Yay! Trip hop got me into electronic music long ago... Sneaker Pimps "Becoming X" to be specific. I know they've already been mentioned, but Portishead, Morcheeba, Hooverphonic and Blockhead are really good, and I don't know what category AIR falls into but they're my favorite single artist (their album Talkie Walkie is great).

If you have trouble finding any of this I'd be more than happy to zip a file and send it your way- anything for the progression of good music

Sneaker Pimps - Becoming X = a great album!! It's
too bad they got rid of the singer from that time period, or whatever happened.

Reminds me of going to Disneyland on the weekends with our annual passes, getting shitfaced in the bathroom with some almost-radioactive mixture of every kind of liquor our parents so ignorantly left out in the open... hah!
