okay so this year was WAYYYYYYY more crowded than the last.

apparently even TAO is now cluster fuck status.

i did have an amazing time though. even after waiting an hour and a half to get in, even though i arrived early.

sasha and digweed really amazed me- i didn't quite know what the hype about them was, but i actually really enjoyed their set (or the parts that i heard).

deadmau5 was absolutely amazing
same with ferry.
and the lighting for ferry was PLURGASM. i recorded nearly half of his set, and the camera video still tripped me out.

cops were a really big pain in the ass this year, but there were some really chill ones.

pleasure meeting all the RL peoples. i apologize for the confusion and such, everyone got separated. i ended up doing a circle in the d&b stage cause there was so much room, and then one in the house area during deadmau5. and joined in on a bunch.

one thing that really surprised me was the complete lack of sound bleed between the two outdoor stages.

one thing that really pissed me off was how early arrivals all got the shitty 15 minute walk from exit parking, and all the late arrivals got the right outside of the west entrance parking.

one thing that really impressed me was how amazing the lighting in the main stage was. i know sports arena lighting has always been great, but i swear to god; it was on a whole different level this year.

not cool!

more to come, when i'm no longer cracked out.

3333 btw please post those pics!!! :]

AND HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE.

Over all good show iv been in the scene for so long its hard to do the massives thing at times but i like sash and digweed really enjoyed there set sash building it up and digweed bringing it back hard. The VIP ticket was the way to go when we got there gen admin was out to fig but the back vip line had no one in it. Plus the open bar was nice well worth the 100 for bottled water all night. plus a few cocktails. for those that where there i was the one with the blue photons doing the "in one ear out the other thing" still up still going strong, bring on 08 baby!

I blame the pills. Better quality, less shit, and cheaper. Or maybe I'm just getting to know the right people. haha.

I lovvvvved all the 12 year olds there, I felt like looking at them was illegal, and had ones following me through out the night. MAAAAAAN. AWWWWWKWARD.

House stage always goes off. Shit was insane. I was inside for the countdown, besides the fireworks, what a waste of energy to be there. The fireworks make pluggin vicks like no other. But yeah, Sasha and Digweed, in the beginning spun a super slow, boring ass music. I left for hours or what not and got to dance to good music at the house stage, then came back about 11:50 and for a bit after they seemed to have picked up the pace. Still it wasn't what I was hoping it was.

As Ferry. He played a bunch of songs I knew, I loved it. Maybe I just have a hardon for his music, but it seemed to fit him perfectly and I was happy about. Maybe because I was at good dance circle, with non-12 year olds stalking me.

But honestly, one of the most memorable parts of the night was when Swidish Egil(?) spun Banquet by Bloc Party. I fucking love that song. I hadn't even taken my pill, but I felt on heaven there. Hanging out with friends, meeting new people.

Overall this TAO is a much better experience from last year for me. And being that this was a test to see if massives should be stricken from my usual engagements, it appears that I will be at Love Fest, orwhateveroneIfeellikespendingcashon. So yeah, for me, awesome night. My friend kind of jipped me on some hotel afterparty. Kind of annoyed, but I'm kind of tired so I will just pretend I'm too tired to have gone to one of those.

I had an amazing time, I was wondering if anyone got any videos of my lasers from a distance or something... I was the kid with 2 green lasers doing light shows on walls and floors, and on people ( just about everywhere lol ).
I was using them almost all night so there has to be SOME!
My favorite part of the night was when Big Sky was playing, but everyone prob thought i was crazy for singing along : /

WOW!!!

What an amazing night.
The vibe from EVERYONE was sooo good. No one there had negative energy, and everyone was so happy about everything.
I missed the meet up
I was rolling ballz that I lost track of time.
Met amazing people there too!

WOW. What a way to bring in the new year. I loved the stuff Sasha & John Digweed were playing about half hour til the countdown. I gotta post up some videos. Deadmau5 was pretty dope, but I didn't see his whole set. Loved the energy everyone brought. WOW.

rave Re: Tao Reviews!!!!

Everything about TAO was great, except having to wait in line for 1 hour and 45 minutes. Other then that, it was a great night and I wouldn't have rather been anywhere else.
