Stop with the condescension and self-aggrandizement.

It's laudable that you attend parties drug-free, and enjoy the music, but it's hardly necessary to make a point of it, and, in doing so, tacitly judge and disparage fellow ravers and attempt to elevate yourself.

This also pertains to the "cuddle-puddle" haters. I agree that the dance floor should be respected and kept clear for dancing, especially when the venue's packed, but compassion goes a long way.

The e-tards muddying up the dance-floor are usually new to the drugs and to the scene. Most don't know any better, both because they're rolling and because they're newness causes them to emulate the behavior around them to determine what is "acceptable."

I can't think of any veteran ravers that are guilty of cuddle-puddling it up in the middle of the dancefloor, infamous e-tards though excepted from this.

If a cuddle-puddle forms, just go up and ask, nicely, for them to move to the side and out of the way of the dancefloor so people can have more room to dance, and so they won't get stepped on by accident; my request has yet to be denied.

A lot of ravers, when approaching these kids, have it in their mind that they're going to teach these kids a lesson, and end up coming off as abrasive and rude (it's not so much the words themselves, but often the tone that betrays them). Naturally, these young kids get defensive, and the request not only fails, but creates an unnecessary animosity between the two.

i completely agree with you, but unfortunately i, myself, have been rude to these people, but mainly the ones who continue to spread in the middle of the dance floor. Although, i wish i could say that my requests have always been accepted. I usually get a rude look or a "whatever" from them, which in that case i dance uncontrollably and step on them and spin so i spray them with water or whatever other beverage i am consuming at that time.

Also, remember that this is ravelinks and the level grammar and intelligible conversation is seriously lacking on here so i highly doubt that many will get what you meant by your post.

Lol, i can see it now, someone looking at the computer going "self-aggrandizement?? laudable?? Thank god for dictionary.com cause i don't know what he's talking about" lol

i definitely don't judge people harshly on them doing drugs, if they're smart about it.

i looooooove e-tards when they're being an e-tard in the classic ways. rambling, non stop touching, feelings of love...you know what im saying.

its the rare, out of this world, come up to you and steal your water, lights, CLOTHING, or something else that bugs me.

and i have for sure seen some experienced ravers sit on the floor.

i dont step on them on purpose.

i always say, for the first time "please do not lie down or sit down on the dance floor, it is for dancing, move to the sides!"

then if they keep doing it and just stare at me i add some anger to it.

i only step on people because...welll...i need room to dance. and i do jump style sometimes. it shows them that if they're sitting on a dance floor...theyll get danced on.

meh whatevs.

If you're going to be a jerk and laydown in the middle of a dance floor.
I'm going to be a jerk and step on you.

9/10 times when the etards in said cudpud they don't ever want to move, asking them nicely normally results in the following:
A: They start feeling you and try to get you to join them.
B: They ignore you
C: Ask you for a light show / massage

so,
Deal with mah stompan.

hahahahahahah awesome post

fuck cuddle puddles. weve all done it. but some of us have been respectful enough of others to not make a spectacle of ourselves and rub our druggedness in their faces . i just got so sick of the whole seing people laying/sitting at parties thing that i refuse to do so no matter how many tranqs im on now. ill go find a sitting area or something to do it if i absolutely must. thats just me though. seing people act retarded on drugs has turned me into a severely paranoid roller now. i wouldnt wanna see people do that so why would i inflict that on others
