While I've definitely done my share of substances, I'd say probably 60-70% of my parties I go to sober (other than caffeine). I learned early on that rolling too much too often doesn't do any good. I also went through a period where I thought I couldn't enjoy parties sober, but I corrected myself and all is well now.

I find it interesting that when I'm not sober at a party, I tend to focus less on the music and do things like talk to people, lightshow, and walk around/hang out. However, when I'm sober, I'm usually on the dancefloor almost the entire night.

First off let me say I've been wandering through the LA forum trying to find a party to go to the weekend of Feb. 15th and I can't find any info on parties going on that weekend.

I have always been sober and been going to parties for 10 years. Never drank alcohol, smoked a cig or done a drug. I go because I love the music and I love to dance. I'm originally from DC but now live in Brooklyn, NY. I actually have 2 friends in NY, Sick and Solomon who are both totally sober. We all just dance A LOT, no need for outside substances for us to enjoy ourselves.

If anyone can give me any info on parties going on during the Feb 15th weekend I'd really appreciate it.
