ok this should be interesting....

so i'm wodering how many people are out there that are sober ravers... i'm not talking just at the party but i'm talking in general..

meaning no drugs.. including weed... booze ok.. and yes its called a drug too.
if weed once maybe a month thats doesnt count

so who all is sober..

u mean everytime? cause that's definately not me. i rarely smoke da buddha anymore for personal reasons, but i've gone to many raves stone-cold sober.


...course i've also gone to many raves fucked out my gourd, so i guess u can say i like to swing both ways...

so the last 2 parties and forward were you and do you plan to be sober... more are you a sober person or do you enjoy the drugs.. not long in the past more ...

haha, now that clarification has arrived, sadly no. the last party i went to (kandy fest) i rolled off a blue mitsu and a green xbox. the previous 5 parties i went to i went sober (2 of which i drank a 40oz of OE before going in) Don't know what that classify's me as...

drinking alcohol totally defeats sobriety. So yeah, alcohol does count, including herb, etc.

I was actually a completely sober raver and person until kandi fest. I didn't even drink caffeine or energy drinks before I would go raving..so yes, I would stay up 70 hours straight off of, my own pure energy.

As acclaimed by Tofu in the kandi fest thread, I rolled for my first time and kitty flipped. I chose kandi fest to try it because the vibes were pretty good and I was with my bf, some one I fully trust to be there with me when I roll. We had a pretty good time =) (p.s. I love you, E_tard)

Idk like I went to rave type things before I knew what raves were back when I was like 16. Did a highschool semester in Japan and my foreign exchange sister took me to shows like Tiesto.

So I've gone to plenty of shows sober but as of now I am not a sober raver. Mostly my group of raver friends only go to about one show a month to roll...1/2 of them go for the music and 1/2 go for the drugs

Besides the ones I go to with them, I go sober or with some caffeine.

Mad props to sober ravers though. I think I'd be better off today with the brain cells I lost between 95 and 2001. Should I have known I'd be needing them today, I would've eased off the drugs. I am sure, for most getting involved with this scene, that we without a doubt have to face the decision of whether or not to fall into the whole drug thing. I fell into it, and had my fun. But when I look back at those years, I haven't had damn thing accomplished for myself at 23.

I know now that the drugs are not what kept me in the rave scene for so long. I love electronic dance music! I f*cking love the music. I would die if all of a sudden the world went empty of house music. Again, mad props to sober ravers. You're probably better off that way. It was a "trip" being sober at Nocturnal 07. My have I grown.

LURPY, We were on our way back from Vegas when we had to use the restroom. So we stoped at a Wendy's in Victorville! My wife spend 2 years of her childhood there. Yea, sh*thole!

and to showstoppa id say your still ok to call a sober raver cuase you just tried it the once.. isn't until its a few times that you loose the sober status lol

i myself don't think that booze is a bad thing... most raves not the place for it but yeah debatable as to if means not sober or not.. guess depends on the amount ???
