Ok not only did the DJ not know the meaning of the term "beat-match" but he went from some dumbass Usher song to Call on Me into Billie Jean. WTF?

I just want to say thanks to all you beautiful ravers out there who can appreciate a decent DJ and who can dance to house without falling down or booing.

It was actually Coonie's in Santa Barbara...normally a good club even if all the neanderthals in SB listen to is hippity-hop. But seriously, the guy was just going from one record to the next by moving the fader across during the breaks. I was there with 2 other DJ's and some guys from work and we couldn't help laughing. I think the guy just didn't care and was playing whatever he felt like playing. Which is cool...but it totally killed the dance vibes. Otherwise it was really fun.

We normally go to Q's. My friends used to play there but the line was super long and we didn't know anyone working that night that could get us in with 5+ guys.

I'm playing a party Saturday night Nate or I'd hit it up...I'd it'd be cool to go chill with some RLers sometime.

But yeah...love you ravers man. I'm just getting into the rave scene even though I've been spinning house for a year now. I'm really getting excited to play for people who can appreciate good music.
